23rd NEW ZEALAND ECONOMETRIC STUDY GROUP MEETING
The University of Auckland Business School , 21-22 February 2013

The New Zealand Econometrics Study Group (NZESG) is holding the 23rd New Zealand Econometrics Study Group Meeting at The University of Auckland Business School from 21-22 February 2013.

We invite submissions from those wishing to present a paper, which can be in any field of econometrics, theoretical or applied, including empirical analyses of issues in economics and finance.

The submission deadline is Friday 7 December 2012 for abstracts (or full papers, if available). Abstracts or full papers should be sent by email to Dimitri Margaritis on d.margaritis@auckland.ac.nz.

Full papers will be required (subject to acceptance) by Friday 8 February 2013 so they can be made available to discussants.

We will again be presenting RBNZ-NZESG Awards in Econometrics, accompanied by a cheque for NZ$500, to young econometricians on the basis of their research and presentation at the meeting. To qualify for an award, researchers should either be working toward a PhD or have completed doctoral research within the past two years. Please indicate if you are eligible and wish to be considered for these awards. There is a conference registration fee of NZ$80 for the meeting to cover lunch, morning and afternoon tea and the Thursday dinner.
