23rd NEW ZEALAND ECONOMETRIC STUDY GROUP MEETING
The New Zealand Econometrics Study Group (NZESG) is holding the 23rd New Zealand Econometrics Study Group Meeting at The University of Auckland Business School from 21-22 February 2013.
We invite submissions from those wishing to present a paper, which can be in any field of econometrics, theoretical or applied, including empirical analyses of issues in economics and finance.
The submission deadline is Friday 7 December 2012 for abstracts (or full papers, if available). Abstracts or full papers should be sent by email to Dimitri Margaritis on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Full papers will be required (subject to acceptance) by Friday 8 February 2013 so they can be made available to discussants.
We will again be presenting RBNZ-NZESG Awards in Econometrics, accompanied by a cheque for NZ$500, to young econometricians on the basis of their research and presentation at the meeting. To qualify for an award, researchers should either be working toward a PhD or have completed doctoral research within the past two years. Please indicate if you are eligible and wish to be considered for these awards. You can find out more about the awards, sponsored by the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, on the RBNZ-NZESG Awards website.
There is a conference registration fee of NZ$80 for the meeting to cover lunch, morning and afternoon tea and the Thursday dinner.
